It’s sad that even at 17, I know precisely how this feels and have since I was 11. 6 years of not feeling pretty ‘cause none of the (white) boys I liked ever noticed me as anything more than a friend, and I’m STILL struggling with the insecurities. Like, hooooly shit, I’m not even out of HIGH SCHOOL yet, and everyone tells me (family included) that college is going to be so much different. And I’m like suuuureee…
